Reality is on my side, which often helps. I'm even more cynical than Stil -
if Conroy makes the web unusable, people will shift from browsers to other
tools. Archie, Gopher, FTP, Usenet and Chatrooms all got discovered by
politicians, ranted at until the sysadmins got nervous about invested
capital, and became unfriendly to users. Users go elsewhere, and the new
Internet tool has an IPO.
