And so does my Ericsson T39 (also 7-yrs-old), with the bonus of e-mail
too (and no replacement battery). But that's not the point: the iPhone
does much much more than this, even without the phone part. Whilst I'm
not at all keen to pay for data access (crippling with any of the
three carriers announced), I can use all of the other parts: and it
would replace my phone, my camera, my iPod, my laptop remote, and a
few other devices as well. For that, I would be happy to have one
thing to replace many.
