they'll also be remembered as a gang of criminals who asset-stripped
america (and iraq, too).
i'd bet that that, when it finally enters mainstream consciousness in
the US, will cause far more outrage than the torture and the foreign
adventures and all the rest of it. hardly anybody there there gives a
damn about some foreigners being tortured, it's not like theyre real
people living somewhere that matters...what's important is that Bush &
Co's pillaging has near-bankrupted the country and caused gas prices to
go up.
i also bet that one of the first things Obama does when/if he gets
elected is to grant a pardon to Bush & Cheney. they won't be held to
account for their crimes.
