There are other nice features as well that generally aren't available
in a black-box disk recorder..  e.g. Media Center extenders (available
as standalone appliances, and is built into Xbox 360) which enable you
to view your Media Centre content (photos, music, recorded TV,
downloaded TV, etc) from any TV, as well as on the road or on your
mobile phone.  Also the ability to sync recorded TV to your MP3 player
is nice.

The DNR thing sucks big-time, but fortunately isn't an issue in Australia (yet).
