Dear Linkers

I'm likely to be looking for some intelligent people who are
relatively computer-savvy, and hopefully with a passing knowledge of
Macintoshes.

As many of you are undoubtedly aware, there is a bit of a chinwag
taking place in Canberra organised by Kevin Rudd on a weekend mid-April.

My company is seeking around 30 or so people who can act as
administrators of our locally-developed facilitation software, iMEET!
(web-based, simple to use, but with some extra smarts that need some
prior training), and who can help us with the gig.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest, and at this stage
expect to be able to remunerate candidates for their effort (though
not much, since most people involved with the gig are offering to work
for free - and are more than willing to be a 'fly-on-the-wall' for
much of the proceedings).

The work will involve either acting as roving technical help around
conference tables, or to act as the aforementioned administrator to
oversee input and to remotely-control (via VNC) the presenter laptop.

It is anticipated that there will be 3-4 training evenings required
before the event (in Canberra - so you'll need to be local), at which
we will determine what roles people might play in the event.

Please reply off-list - and note that whilst we are seeking
expressions of interest, we are not making any commitment to
individuals at this stage.

Thanks!

iT
