Some companies appear to be trying to exploit the government's
Australia 2020 Summit, by advertising events with similar names.

I noticed a couple of Google ads popping up on my blog posting about
the Australian 2020 Summit
<http://www.tomw.net.au/blog/2008/02/australia-2020-summit.html>. At
first I thought the Australian Government was advertising, but on
closer inspection these are companies advertising non-government
events not part of the Australia 2020 Summit. Companies, academic and
government organisations might want to advise their staff not to
speak at such events.

Here are two examples:
---
2020 Summit
One-day forum: Australia's future Demography, Economy, Climate Change
www.FutureForum.com.au
---
Government Conferences

ps: The ACT Government is running a Canberra 2020 Summit
<http://www.tomw.net.au/blog/2008/03/canberra-2020-summit.html>, and
there is at least one other government endorsed local 2020 summit
planned for Canberra.
