I have a 75 year old mantle clock I bought on ebay for $100.
It has no environmental footprint whatsoever. I wind it once a week,
twice a week for the chimes. It is usually off by 5 minutes a day,
but I see to that at regular intervals as well. Good old Dunklings.

On the digital side, I warned them at work about the DST thing 4 weeks
ago and it turned into a mad rush last week to patch & reboot everything.
Thankfully I was on holidays and only had a minimal involvement.

The only computers we missed at home were our Macs, which didn't
seem to have an update, so I went to ftp.elsie.nic.gov and got the
latest TZ data files. Then we did zic australasia/zic backwards
and they are still mad - UNIX time shows the correct date/time,
the toolbar clock is an hour behind!
