From page 1 of the EOI (
http://www.dbcde.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/89159/request-for-expression-of-interest.pdf
) :
----
'ISPs will be recognised for their participation in the Pilot. This
recognition will strengthen their brand image with the community.'
----
And from page 3 of the Technical Testing Framework (
http://www.dbcde.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0006/89160/technical-testing-framework.pdf
):
----
'While customers may volunteer for the Pilot, during their participation
they would not be aware at any particular point in time of whether or
not they are receiving a filtered service, depending on the kind of
filtering solution being tested.'

Mark Newton (from Internode but speaking as a citizen) spoke with Tech
Wired AU last night about the trial. He said something along the lines
of the trial time frame being too short notice for small ISPS to
participate and that larger ISPs don't make hardware changes before
Christmas holidays for the fun of it (December 24 being the date to gov
want to start -- looks like heaps of industry consultation went into
deciding that). You can listen to that interview at
