Deja vu all over again.

I remember, more years ago than I dare to recall, mentioning on Link
that I'd been to a lecture by Roger Penrose in which he proposed
precisely that. The reaction of Linkers was summed up by someone (can't
remember who) who said "this is a classic example of why eminent people
should stick to their field of expertise" - IOW "twaddle".
