Are you wanting something that will take conversational text input and
transform that into CAD drawings, or something where you first need to learn
the specification syntax?

Apart from data driven drawing, you could also consider script driven
drawing. You shouldn't need to write super fancy scripts, a series of
primitives with the occasional loop. Ideally you'd want something with a
console/preview UI.

I've done stuff like this on Mac OS X with Omnigraffle.
