Dear Linkers

This company, Mktg. Incorprated, claims to developed "digital
fingerprinting software that logs respondent machine characteristics."

They've developed it for the use with online surveys to stop people
redoing surveys, you know, the professional respondent.

In particular they're claiming that it "cannot be detected by potential
respondents and does not work by the use of cookies or other customary
tactics, there is no known way for repeat offenders to beat the system."

I am wondering what they are doing to achieve this as well as the strength
of their claim, since I am in the sceptical camp when someone claims there
is no known way to beat a system
