Thanks I will study that a bit more...I have encountered problems writing large
video files to a CDROM. It may even turn out to make it possible to play the
video from the disk directly. I store the files in directories.
My impression of an image file is that it has to be restored, before the files
can be read.
I haven't seen Vista, but I am guessing the way long filenames and other header
information is implemented may be contributing to the problem. When I write
files with K3B it often asks about truncating names - if I am trying to maximise
my chances of interoperability I stick to the DOS standard 6character.3character
extension.
