Which is all well and good, except that for almost a year Jeff Jarvis
and others have been positing that the "article" is no longer the
atomic unit, but the "topic" ... which may consist of articles, maps,
tweets, databases, videos, diagrams, photos... all wrapped up in some
way to provide context and a narrative.

The "newspapers" are still looking back, still thinking in terms of
rearranging the components of a newspaper, instead of looking ahead to
how they can deliver meaning and narrative to an audience.
