Hmmm - maybe I need to add "Getting Google to fix their directions" to the
list of "recreational impossibilities."
I've got a few I could try and get them to acknowledge after watching
Google Maps navigate me around Melbourne. Good thing I live here and know
you can't turn right from Queens Rd into the continuation of the Kings Way
(great way to get blasted by traffic behind you). Another good one is its
persistence in telling me that the best way to get to a back street in
Greensborough is to turn left from the Greensborough Hwy onto Plenty River
Drive, despite the fact that this would involve a 300' plunge off the
highway bridge (BASE jumping, anyone? :)
The risks & perils of relying on GPS based navigation & mapping systems,
perhaps? :)
Cheers,
Grant
