I confess I haven't been following the debates about the stimulus package. FWIW
Obama's, rhetoric at least, has been about Green Job creation and capping
executive pay of companies that receive bailouts....perhaps that is what is
needed in Australia too. The Murray-Darling basin would be a good place to start
after they have funded native forest management.
