But the problem with 'early' is that it is relative to the 
circumstances and the individual's self-determined capabilities which 
may not be accurate if they don't have the full story. Early is an 
abstract concept. It has different meaning to different people. Talk 
about not scaling! 'Early' or 'late' is the ultimate in not scaling.
