I am writing to you to ask for your help.
The Australian Cranfield Alumni, together with Cranfield School of
Management in the UK, are about to embark on the selection process for the
Third Cranfield Australian Alumni Scholarship. This scholarship has thus far
assisted four talented Australians to undertake the full-time MBA programme
at Cranfield School of Management (ranked 13th in the world by the Economist
Intelligence Unit) in the UK:
2007 Winner Sarah Nicholson - 27 year old Chemical engineer with
BHP Billiton
2008 Winner Robert Milagre - 32 year old Architect, NSW Department
Environment & Climate Change
as well as Fee Share Schoiarship winners John Miocevich (2007) and Chris
Tredwin (2008).
The scholarship, valued at approximately $100,000, is the highest value
scholarship available in Australia for one year of study and covers tuition
fees for the full time MBA programme and also a grant to contribute to
living expenses and the cost of a return airfare to the UK.
The person we are seeking will have at least 3 years of practical, real-life
work and life experience with a track record of success, will be most
probably around 28 to 34 years of age and have the talent and drive to be
one of the future business leaders and entrepreneurs of this country.
Whilst this scholarship opportunity may not be of interest to you directly,
you may know of someone, either that you work with, or professional
colleagues or people in your personal circle that could benefit from this
opportunity. To ensure that we can make as many talented people aware of the
Scholarship as possible could you please take the time to forward this email

Eligibility for the scholarship
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, the person must:
1. Be an Australian national and resident in Australia
2. Be passionate about Australia and want to contribute to the country
3. Have a successful track record of around 3+ years work experience
4. Complete the Graduate Management Admission Test with a score of 600 or
over
5. Be accepted for the full time MBA programme at Cranfield
6. Complete the Scholarship Application Page which simply asks the applicant
to make a persuasive case to be awarded the scholarship
People without undergraduate degrees will be considered based on work record
and GMAT.
