Yes, they apply sanctions all the time through their discipline process
which defines the rules and conditions for participation.
I believe you may be looking at a specific whilst the law that covers school
uniforms is part of a bigger aspect that deals with the whole concept of the
discipline in schools.
School uniforms are not specifically mentioned in the law I feel which is
why it is difficult to find a reference. However, whatever the rules of the
school are, the discipline process would be covered under some laws. I'm
afraid I don't have enough interest to dwell for long on the subject.
Could be under the same laws that allows employers to specify a uniform for
employees.
