I do this with Ticketek outlets. I lie throughout their info
collection. This has been for groundpass tickets at the Aussie Open
which I doubt very much would be cancelled and require a refund or
contact for any reason. I give them my real credit card of course
[they refuse EFTPOS and cash, I think] and the names don't match.
Hasn't stopped them selling me the tickets.
Another funny one. I lie about my birthdate on websites like Village
Cinemas, just make sure it makes me an adult by the year. I got a
birthday email from them this week. My real birthday is in September.
I was a bit confused by it until I realised that I must have given
them a March birthdate.
I hope folks who do datamatching don't kid themselves that all that
much of it is factual.

Our truest response to the irrationality of the world is to paint or
sing or write, for only in such response do we find truth.
