The Melb PC BBS had a member who was in his early 90s. He used to drive to
the RIP SIG (Retirees & Interested Persons) and he told me this tale of
using the BBS when the Sysop came online and called him "Sonny" and told him
not to put a fictitious date of birth - it was a two digit field and he had
entered 05 or 06. He told him he had entered his age instead of his year of
birth.  Our elderly gent replied with the fact that he was indeed 90+ years
of age, then the sysop and he had a long friendly chat.

PS - Agree that Lea's solution is the best one I have seen.
