Yes, though the comparison is not as clear. The 'output' might look  
the same, but getting to it is quite different, and with a different  
feature set to manipulate the data.

Perhaps a better analogy is the difference between handwriting and  
typewriter, or microwave oven vs convection oven: the 'outputs' might  
appear to be similar, but the presentation, and how you get there, is  
very different.
