The language of that "denial" is more like Tony Abbott saying the 
"phrase" Work Choices is dead.
"To suggest this is a business arrangement between our companies is 
entirely incorrect.  "
Nothing in the statement says what the discussions are about. It's a 
very evasive statement, carefully crafted by the lawyers.

Also note this is Verizon's blog. The commenters don't buy it either.
