i use the iitalk service which is included with my iinet naked dsl2
connection.
i can call any land line in australia for free - no flagfall, no time
charges, nothing.
calls to mobiles are $0.30/min (or thereabouts), so i use my 3 mobile
for mobile calls. 3 to 3 or vodaphone are free, and 3 to other mobiles
are included in my monthly cap.
probably other ISP's and other telcos have similar deals. i'm pretty
sure internode have a product like iitalk.
whirlpool[1] is a good site place to find out what sort of services are
offered by various ISPs and VSPs.
