FORMER Queensland Labor MP Mike Kaiser landed a $450,000-a-year job at the national broadband network on the recommendation of federal Communications Minister Stephen Conroy.

Just a thought. If they are willing to pay $450,000-a-year for the head of government relations and internal affairs, I wonder what they are paying for the guy who is responsible for the technical aspects of the system?

I assume there is a chief engineer, or chief technical officer or some such person who will make sure that
