[LINK] NBN security?

Since most comms equipment is probably made in China or at least parts  
of it are, this seems rather a moot point and the article has somewhat  
of a xenophobic element.  The US military have already found fake  
comms equipment in their network:

But you can be sure that almost all comms equipment is made outside  
Australia by people who don't necessarily have our best interests at  
heart.  In that case the same scrutiny needs to be applied to all of it.
