Until today I had never heard of antechinus and wouldn't know how to
pronounce it without looking it up. If I have seen one in a zoo, its name
would have not registered in my mind along with numerous other creatures
that don't have a familiar name in English or Aboriginal dialects. A few
marsupials could be easily be mistaken for creatures found elsewhere.
