Power outages weren't due to cables coming down - more 
likely to exceeding generation capacity.

It is interesting, that in Canberra they run the power
cables along the back fences.

There were parts of sydney, where they have been demanding
underground cabling....but perhaps they were tunnel
diggers...it has gone quiet now...
