Actually, the ACCC is very interested to hear of these scams. I've a mate who works there who says that their call centre takes many calls a day from people around Australia.

I'm intrigued as to why I've not had any such calls, yet all of my friends tell me that they have - one even told a story of his daughter producing a credit card and was only narrowly averted from handing over details.
