In other breaking news, Windows Phone was also discovered to transmit the
users voice over the cellular network whenever the user made or received a
voice call!!
Using cell towers, Wifi MACs and GPS data to calculate location is nothing
new, and certainly not newsworthy. You won't find a recent smartphone (or
for that matter, a recent version of Firefox/Chrome) that doesn't do this.
