The handwritten number makes slightly more sense now. If the resident is home when the collector calls, *either* the 
full form *or* the eCensus envelope is handed over. In my case, no one was home, so they left both.

Presumably the print run for the full form was based on an estimate of how many households would choose the form rather 
than the online option. It will be interesting to see how many used the eCensus.

It's certainly handy having the form though. You can see what questions they are going to ask before doing it online.
