I take it back - oz.au does exist.  DNS response below.

But there may be no active servers in the domain.

Back in 2000, AuDA pointed to the .oz.au policy document at:
http://munnari.oz.au/netinfo/ORG.AU-policy
munnari and www.munnari still have DNS entries, but no server is found.

Mark Tearle made a submission to the AuDA Review in May 2010, as follows:
