Aye.

As mostly a lurker I was hesitant to respond but since I've been following
the list for a fair few years I imagine it is appropriate.  If it wasn't a
mailing list I would most likely drop by the wayside.  Have seen a lot of
forums that drop membership after awhile as users can't be bothered visiting
on a regular basis.  

Over the years I've learnt to handle high volumes of email and I'm
comfortable with the format, as others have pointed out it is an easy method
to aggregate feeds from different sources easily.

It is unfortunate so many of the old mailing lists have dropped away. I'd be
disappointed if this one went the same way.
