I am amazed the airlines allow people to power devices back up again midflight. People
are required to not power up mobile phoines unless they are in 'flighht mode' with the
radios turned off - but somehow they've forgotten about all the wifi, bluetooth and
3G radios in laptops and such. I've lost count of the number of laptops I see with a
little blue network light merrily flashing away mid-flight.
Do 3G-enabled iPads and tablets have a readily accessable 'flight mode' switch?
