Hope away, Jan, but I'm not confident.
As I noted in a couple of Register articles:
1. The Australian Content Industry Group has a Canberra lobbyist.
2. The IIA also has a Canberra lobbyist.
However, although (a) the new industry lobby has only existed since late
last year and (b) its analyst firm offered no bona fides as to
independence, previous work - even so, its lobby got it in front of the
A-G and its numbers into a speech. If I were the IIA I'd be asking my
lobbyist for at least some kind of matching success and/or access.
