I applied for a card and received it earlier this week.
I've been enjoying browsing the range of resources it makes available -
especially "Policing the Shanghai International Settlement, 1894-1945" which
opens up the files of the Special Branch of the British municipal police
force based there. Rich bed of raw and factual material begging to be
fleshed out.
