Well - yes. So what? What is your point? SIP works too.

You were talking about firewalls and the difficulty of inbound
connections - Skype doesn't need them and doesn't make them. Real VC
needs the whole panoply of NAT-busting hard work - port forwarding and
what-have-you. If NAT wasn't there, VC (personal or big-end) would be
easy.

Like its wet-rice-paper "security", NAT provides only the most miniscule
degree of "privacy". All the same arguments apply here as were gone over
in the discussion of NAT "security" last year - lets not go there
again...
