Cloud computing is a vague term. There is little agreement amongst 
either vendors or users as to what it does or could mean.

It would be dangerous to assume that it is just a new version of the 
1960s service bureau.

Declaration of interest:
I'm working at AGIMO on the whole of government Data Centre as a Service 
(DCaaS) project. DCaaS is a term being used by AGIMO to cover a range of 
services, which may or may not include cloud services.
