[LINK] Independent Commentary

The blog model, which people still believe to be some kind of citizen 
journalism, increasingly resembles the business model of the local rag: 
get people to pay for editorial.

For some reason, that business model isn't imagined by the visionaries 
so-called who keep telling us the shape of things to come...
