i wouldn't blame javascript for that.
i'd blame the developers (or the idiot manager who approved or ordered
it. and the idiot designer who whined that the url bar is ugly and
messes up his pretty page) - take away one of the few visual indicators
(the url bar) that the user has to verify that they're visiting the site
they think they are. brilliant, just brilliant.
one could easily be excused for thinking they're going out of their way to
help phishers.
