The addled children who run the Google News search-engine seem to 
contrive new cock-ups on a weekly basis.

1.  Old searches are returning utter nonsense.

2.  Entries prior to the current month have either disappeared into 
thin air or are getting a fixed date of 31 Dec 1969 displayed for 
them, e.g.

Yes, I'm prepared to allow for the possibility that the sentient 
being that is Google is applying the accumulated collection of 
correspondence about me, that has been gifted to it by other people, 
combined with my searches and/or my mostly static IP-address, to 
infer that I have a sense of humour and enjoy randomised information.
