[LINK] PC platform history numbers

Here's a graph of personal computer units shipped per year by platform.  It
goes back to '75 for those of us who were around then.  Note the log scale.

Interesting takeaways:
- the numbers are two and a bit orders of magnitude larger now than in the
80's
- Android is overtaking the PC right now.
- There is a platform diversity now that hasn't existed since the 80's.

Android is the fastest growing platform ever in terms of absolute numbers.
Interestingly, it looks like the first couple of years of the x86 pc albeit
at ~500x the numbers.
