[LINK] O/T Climate Change, the Herd , Youtube and the NBN.

So now that pesky climate change has inserted so much CO2 into the Five
fibre links that the latency is almost exceeding 1999 levels.

Therefore it would seem to me to be wise to ban Youtubes and multi-media
that is not a cache hit.
This could best be done at the Wholesale pricing level.
i.e.: Normal Price if in cache. $2.00 per megabyte if not in cache.
With of course a client advisory "click yes to pay additional..."

This needs to be effected now. Letting the herd be mad at Telco's is a
proven reliable strategy.
Some Transponders could be retasked - specifically analogue Cable TV...
NOW, not in two weeks time.
The NBN chappies could "rent" additional third party transponders - NOW.
