This sort of thing irritates me (I know it's not you Tom) - the NBN will
NOT be ubiquitous. And large chunks of the area that will be "reached by
the NBN" will in fact be reached only by satellite, with appalling
latency which locks out almost all real-time interactive applications -
in particular telemedicine and gaming.

Sounds like expensive propaganda to convince people who will get nothing
even resembling proper network access that they should be grateful for
the crap they do get. They should spend the millions on running more
fibre.
