A request to the Link Institute.
Is there a decent authority for 'good website standard practice'?
Put another way, when we complain that a web-site is badly designed,
what criteria should we draw to the attention of the relevant
organisation?
Partial lists (e.g. 'web-site accessibility guidelines', which focus
on particular disabilities such as site-impairment) are part of the
story, but there's a much broader mainstream public to be attended to
as well; and many other specialised segments such as
limited-bandwidth, limited screen-size,
mostly-non-native-English-speakers, etc.
