For clarity, I *like* the idea of cross-platform software, and accept
that performance-penalties are inherent if a run-time interpreter is
used.
I was put off by the many problems, and by the eye-candy (and haven't
been aware of the various things I can't have without it).
I don't like the idea of dependence on "Ghz CPUs and no shortage of
RAM". That's part of the problem underlying the low quality of
modern appdev.
And is the sandbox still real, or has local security been breached?
