It certainly is.
I've only updated it manually, after seeing a pop-up advising me that Flash
is out of date. The worry is, of course, that the pop-up itself is not from
Adobe - search the web for "fake adobe flash update".

Or don't use Flash.
For video, HTML5 will one day obviate the need for Flash. I can't see HTML5 and
Javascript outpacing other fancy schmancy apps any time soon.
