Excellent idea.

I have an ancient version installed, from the days before it became 
seriously bad spyware.  I also gain a lot of time by not watching 
Flash-only videos.

Unlike GenYs, I don't have the gene that precludes reading more than

Do you have reasons for believing that HTML5 will be less bad than Flash?

HTML5 is designed as a standardised tool for marketers, and I retain 
the distinct impression that its features are strongly pro-marketer 
and anti-user.
