Good point - does anyone know?

A company Telstra has contracted to upgrade RIMs (with gigabit fibre back to the core network!!) shows a picture of them at http://www.superiorbroadbandservices.com.au/newsdetail.php?item=rim-project  There seem to be ventilation slots at top & bottom of the sides of the cabinets.
