For what it's worth I used PayWave for six months, while ING was 
reimbursing 5% of every PayWave transaction. I don't use it now because 
ING's promotion has finished and PayWave transactions go through the 
credit system, which is a cost to the merchant. These days, I use cash 
(ING gives me 50 cents every time I get $200 cashout).

The card involved is a debit card. It's attached to a dedicated account 
that holds limited funds.

I'll worry about the other issues if they prove to be a problem.
