Membership is 347 as of 1 December 2013.

It would be rather more challenging to draw much from people’s email addresses these days: too many people use a mix of .com, .net and others to make this very meaningful.

Traffic volumes might be of some interest.

Rather than add up the actual bytes sent or received, Gzip’d archives extending back through the ages show the following: ignore what the numbers are (actually KB) but rather the waves of activity:
